Introducing Alumni Ambassador Asher Siddiqui!

Asher Siddiqui from Claremont High School took part in the Brent Regional Final in 2022-23 delivering his speech ‘A Generation’s Sacrifice’.  Despite strong competition, Asher went on to be placed second on the night winning a trophy and an Amazon voucher.

Asher is now part of our Alumni Ambassadors Group which is composed of young speakers who have taken part in the “Speak Out” Challenge! with the aim of sharing their experience of every aspect of the programme from in-school workshop through to the Grand Final. Their purpose is to help shape improvements for the future young people that will participate in Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge!

Since 2023, Asher has taken part in various Speakers Trust events including a Level 2 public speaking workshop in February 2024.  Asher was also on the judging panel for the Brent Regional Final in 2023-24 and made a real impression with his confidence and ability to feel at ease with his fellow judges.  This, in turn, led him to be invited to join the Alumni Ambassadors’ group.
