Level 2 public speaking workshop for JPSOC Alumni

During February half-term, 20 Jack Petchey “Speak Out” Challenge! Alumni took part in a Speakers Trust Level 2 workshop held at the Jack Petchey Foundation offices.  Students received a one day workshop furthering their public speaking and communication skills focusing particularly on developing ideas and controlling nerves.  Feedback shows what a success the day was with one student commenting “It was a fantastic and beautiful experience” and, asked about the highlight of the day, another student commented “I think the most helpful thing was knowing that everyone’s approach is different.”

The icing on the cake was that some of the Alumni got to meet Sir Jack himself which was a totally unexpected bonus!  They were all thrilled to have the opportunity to say thank you for all Sir Jack has done for young people over the last 21 years.
